Hans Schmoldt Scholarship in Cathodic Protection

On behalf of the Schmoldt Foundation for Education, AMPP will award one (1) scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, to a student who demonstrates an applied interest in the art and science of Cathodic Protection.

1. Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate science and/or engineering program related to the study of corrosion or corrosion control at an accredited college or university.
  • Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible.
    An internship in the field of Cathodic Protection is a plus.

2. Candidate Evaluation
The following information should be included for review by the Selection Committee:

  • Completed Application
  • Academic transcript
  • Two (2) Recommendation Forms from educators or employers familiar with applicants background
  • Supplemental Essay Question(s)

3. Application Guidelines
In addition to the information above, please be sure to review the General Scholarship Guidelines. In order to be considered, applicants must meet all Scholarship Eligibility Requirements, successfully submit all required documentation (including recommendations), and answer all required essay questions.
