Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings Academic Scholarship

The Sherwin-Williams Company is a global provider of protective and marine coatings, offering a complete line of high performance coatings technologies to combat corrosion. We have delivered unmatched coatings solutions and service to meet our customers’ coatings needs for over 150 years.

We believe that building a strong technical acumen among college students in coatings and corrosion technology is key to long term infrastructure sustainability around the world. AMPP will award up to two (2) scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each, on behalf of The Sherwin-Williams Company Protective & Marine Coatings Division.

1. Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate science and/or engineering program at an accredited college or university, with an emphasis on or interest in corrosion or coatings preferred.
  • Student must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Students enrolled in 2-year or junior colleges are eligible to apply.

2. Candidate Evaluation

  • Academic transcript
  • Three (3) Recommendation Forms from educators or employers familiar with applicants background
  • Résumé/CV
